MUMBAI — A second Tiger will roar into cinema soon. Salman Khan, who is known for launching youngsters both in front of and behind the screen, has taken Tiger, the son of his bodyguard Shera, as an assistant director for his upcoming film “Sultan.”
Khan has promised to train Tiger so that he can start a career. And assisting a director is a great way to train before turning actor, as everyone from Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan to Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor can tell you.
However, it is said that Tiger was offered a huge film from a southern superstar only to nix it. This superstar wanted to launch her daughter opposite Tiger in the film and so it was a big and tempting offer in terms of moolah.
But Shera had a word with Khan, and the latter opined that Tiger needs training before starting his career. He conveyed the message to the southern star that Tiger was not ready yet, and, when the time came, it will be his master who will groom his son and give him a grand launch.
