According to sources, the 29-year-old actress was thought to fit the bill and also the makers wanted a fresh pairing of sort, reports the Express Tribune.
However, when Pakistani actress Mahira Khan came on-board, she totally “nailed it” with her mannerism and lingo, which was apt for the character.
