The 80's and 90's had a lot of print advertisements featuring Bollywood celebs. The young & dashing Salman Khan, was a part of Hero Honda CD 100, Graviera Suitings, Double Bull Shirts and Limca, during the 80's and 90's. The old Salman Khan's advertisements would make you feel nostalgic, and take you back to the good old days. Advertisements, were usually aired on Doordarshan during the 80's and 90's and were also printed in magazines and newspapers. Ads were not too fancy, but had a lot of precise information in them, and never exaggerated the product.
Salman Khan, was a well-known actor during the 80's and 90's, and had a large fan following. Brands were offering ads to the actor, as he had a good fan base. Double Bull Wagon Shirts, offered an advertisement to Salman Khan, after his debut Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1989. Superstar Salman Khan, debuted in Bollywood through the movie, Biwi Ho To Aisi, in the year 1988. The movie, also starred Rekha, Bindu, Kader Khan and Farooq Shaikh. In the year 1989, Salman Khan starred in the movie, Maine Pyar Kiya along with Bhagyashree. Maine Pyar Kiya, went on to be a superhit and brought Salman Khan to the limelight. The song 'Kabootar Ja Ja Ja' is remembered even today, and would make you feel nostalgic. Hum Aapke Hain Koun, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, was the biggest hit of Salman Khan in the year 1994. The movie, was a perfect family love-drama and had no fight scenes. Hum Aapke Hain Koun, was a career defining movie for Salman Khan and his fan base started growing ever since.
