When asked about his eating habits, he promptly said, "I follow a good diet. My diet is not strictly mentioned on paper instead it’s simple food. I don’t have a sweet tooth which has a great contribution in keeping me healthy."
The actor, who loves gorging on 'ghar ka spicy khaana', stressed on the fact that he tries to avoid junk food as much as he can. He also added that eating too much at night after dinner isn't a healthy habit."When I'm busy with shooting schedules, I work out for 40 minutes to an hour, otherwise 2-3 hrs every day. I also practice yoga sometimes", he said while elaborating on his workout routine. He feels that yoga and physical exercises not only helps one in feeling good about oneself, but can also do wonders to one’s skin imparting a natural glow it.
The actor who has made visible efforts in the direction of attaining this well-toned body believes that fitness is a necessity in one’s life. "Without fitness, no goals can be achieved. You need to be fit today in order to be fit in the longer run. Once you get to know your body type, you can decide the exercise routines accordingly and then make a point to stick to it. That’s how you’ll shape yourself."Citing the example of Hrithik Roshan's fine body, he said, "There has to be a definite balance between yoga and workout regimes. As an actor, we have to decide when to do what and everything needs to be planned in a proper way."
Revealing his personal favourites from the showbiz industry, 'Bigg Biss Nau' contestant said, "I like Akshay Kumar. He only works out in the morning. Even without make up, his skin exudes radiance."
"I also admire Jacqueline Fernandez for her fitness. I usually keep a tab on what she posts", he said while confessing his veneration for the 'Roy' actress.The actor who has undergone training in martial arts, uncovered his knack of guiding people with appropriate diet plans for attaining a sound body. "Our body is seventy percent diet and thirty percent workout. So, we need to be really careful about what we choose to eat. Having junk food sometimes is absolutely fine, but once it comes to a regular lifestyle, junk is not a good option."
While talking about his fitness mantra, the 'Pratigya' actor said, "Nothing comes that easy. You’ve to work right and eat right to achieve your fitness goals. What you eat is how you look."end
