Director Gauri Shinde starts shooting her next project starring superstar Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, from 21st January. Excited Karan Johar, who is co-producing the project took to Twitter to share his excitement about the yet to be titled movie. "And @gauris journey with @aliaa08 and @iamsrk begins today!! Really excited!," Johar wrote.
22-year-old, Alia Bhatt will be sharing the screen space with SRK for the first time, and the actress also posted an enthusiastic tweet, "And a beautiful new journey begins!!!! Day one today for Gauris film. Wish me luckkkk @iamsrk @karanjohar @gauris," she wrote. The film is being produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, Johar's Dharma and Hope Productions. Shinde, who made a promising directorial debut with 2012 movie English Vinglish, starring Sridevi, said a few months ago that the upcoming film will not have "typical romance". end
